I understand that your wireless card with bluetooth stopped working, and you have tried reinstalling and updating the wireless driver. I would prefer something more, technical.

NB: Didn't mean to be rude, but please don't ask me to do like restart your PC, reset/refresh your PC, reinstall your drivers, hard-reset, check your driver version and update, BIOS updates, check on HP Support Assistant or any other "common suggestions". So, please give me a way out of this frustration, dear experts. I tried reinstalling HP Wireless Button Driver and still, no luck. Sometimes, yeah it just kinda blinks white-orange-white for couple milliseconds. But previously everything worked just fine. Oh yeah, my Wi-Fi button on keyboard has its light turned on white all the time, even when Flight mode on or off, Wi-Fi on or off. It usually works well but now, it's gone and here's my Device Manager view: I borne no fruit.Īnother thing is, my Bluetooth device also gone now.

I have tried using HP's one and MediaTek's one, rolling back the driver to 5.0.48.0 or 5.0.37.0 and reinstalling drivers, removing from DriverStore, removing from Drivers folder in System32, hard-reset, sfc /scannow again, Update drivers online from the Device Manager, and everything you would imagine.

My driver version is the latest: 5.0.57.0 and it comes from Ralink/MediaTek's website. Now I use a USB Wi-Fi adapter and it works for the same network. But I know that wasn't the case, because " sfc /scannow" scans Windows for corrupted files and fix them, right?Īnyways, now, when I connect to a Wi-Fi network, I got this message:Īnd as a result, I can't connect to anything. My Wi-Fi was working well, but now it had stopped working after I ran " sfc /scannow" on Command Prompt in Windows Safe Mode. I own an HP 14-r015tx Notebook PC ( Click here to see my laptop) with a Ralink RT3290 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth card running on Windows 10 64-bit.
